Lakeside Kit

Where do you want to be this summer? Lakeside or Oceanside? Both!? Then definitely check out Coordinates Collections July kits!! I loved working with the Lakeside kit! The papers are gorgeous... it was easy to go creation-crazy in a manner of minutes with this kit! I made like five cards in one sitting! My new sketches are also posted here: CONTESTS along with all of the other creative contests this month!

Enjoying the last days...

How very fortunate we are to be able to spend two weeks here... Sunday night we jetted off to Honolulu for two days where we enjoyed Waikiki beach and toured Pearl Harbor. It was a nice break from the everyday Maui sights... I really enjoyed Waikiki, it's like 5th Avenue NYC with a gorgeous white sand beach in front of it. Fab.
Three more days here, we head home on Sat., to arrive back in PA Sunday afternoon, where I am sure I'll be delirious with jet lag and maybe won't sleep before I have to go into the office Monday morning. Yowsa.

Thursday lists and pics

Good morning! It's 6:15 AM in Maui, past noon EST... wanted to share some more pics. I've been managing to update the blog of our adventures each day so far, hoping to keep it up! And if you don't have time to click one more time, here are some pics from our night out last night. The last night for my sisters to be here! :( I will miss them. It was such fun to vacation with them, we really haven't had that opportunity before.

Outside my window... Well, I am outside on the lanai... the morning breeze is cool, there are runners and walkers on Kihei St., and cars are busy commuting to and fro.


I am thinking... about how sad I am that my sisters are leaving Maui today.

I am thankful for... my husband and our vacations together, and family.

From the kitchen... last night we dined at Fred's, delicious Mexican cuisine!

I am wearing... light blue Abercrombie beach pants and a white tank top.

I am creating... July sketches for Coordinates Collections!

I am going... to breakfast with my sisters and J, to the beach, and perhaps to a volcano? Or golfing this afternoon?

I am reading... Pride and Prejudice. It makes my brain hurt, but in a good way.

I am hoping... that this vacation lasts forever, I don't gain more than 5 pounds from all of the food I am eating, and that I stop worrying about all of the things I need to finish at work when I get back.

I am hearing... RON and FEZ, 5-9 in Maui. (11-3 EST, XM 202).

Around the house... there is quiet. We are not there.

A few plans for the rest of the week... beach, read, relax, eat, drink, and be merry. Plans to go to Honolulu for a few days later in our vacation. Looking forward to Pearl Harbor sites and Waikiki beach!!

It's nearly July...

Although every day is a lovely summer day here in Maui (thus far!) We're having a great time! Lots of time to relax, spend time on the beach, enjoy good food and drinks, and explore.

Yesterday I finished reading I am the Messenger by Markus Zusak... great book for teens and adults alike. I couldn't put it down!!

Checking in...

So it's almost noon EST, but here in Hawaii it's not yet 6 AM. Why am I awake? you may wonder. Well I've been awake for quite some time, so now that J is gone scuba diving and I can turn on the laptop freely without disturbing him, all is well. Hoping my sisters text me soon so we can meet up for a delicious breakfast. Our plans for dinner with his parents fell through last night so we went to bed starved. Not good! We had a fun day yesterday, beach time, snorkeling, exploring Kihei... love it.

24 hours...

Not exactly sure what time EST I will arrive in Maui, but I know by evening meal time, Hawaii time, we will be there!! This has been an overwhelming week of training, education, ideas, discussions, and my brain hurting. I am so thankful to be able to leave it all behind (hopefully) and relax on the beach with some good reads. Only a few of which are work-related. :)
I am really excited to keep a daily blog of our happenings in Maui, will be posting the link here to share once it's up and running tomorrow night! Love me an excuse to play with iWeb.
